After 18 years tenure from their much loved CEO, this was no mean feat and we worked strategically and creatively to reimagine what this post could look like. This became an international search, talking to senior executives across the Globe, and we are delighted to have placed both an Interim CEO and permanent CEO into the organisation. The team wanted to work progressively and inclusively and we worked closely with the board in a consultative capacity to ensure the process was ethical and inclusive.
When we were contacted by the outgoing CEO, Chair of the Board and Trustees to discuss their needs to hire a new CEO, we quickly realised our ethical values were closely aligned. We wanted to attract a diverse shortlist of candidates from a global background who could bring a wealth of expertise in the international field to lead this growing team. Strategic implementation, fundraising and development experience was essential as well as a deep understanding of the cause.
We helped the team to create a streamlined, engaging and stunningly beautiful job pack and embarked on a marketing campaign to attract new individuals to the organisation. We developed a multi-faceted strategy when targeting and approaching talented individuals for the role and created a warm, safe and joyous candidate journey for those who wanted to apply for the position.
We received an overwhelmingly brilliant shortlist from a wealth of talented individuals from across the globe and presented our suggested interviewees to the Board. After supporting both the Board and candidates with interview support, techniques and inclusive hiring tips, we managed the offer, resignation and onboarding process with resounding success.
The team wanted to reimagine what recruitment for their organisation could look like and the process was a complex, multi-faceted and joyous journey.
