Valued Recruitment are honoured to be collaborating with the prestigious Leeds Heritage Theatres to recruit their first Head of Development.
A note from their CEO
Last year we welcomed over 350,000 people into our spaces to enjoy live performance and film whilst over 10,000 children and young people participated in our Learning & Engagement programmes including developing production and performance skills at City Varieties Music Hall.
Our cinema, Hyde Park Picture House re-opened following an extensive capital project supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, whilst Leeds Grand Theatre closed for three months for planned maintenance work and enhancements as part of our ambitious, ongoing capital plan.
Like many in our sector, we’re responding to changing times. We’re revitalising our artistic vision and strategy to strengthen the position of Leeds Heritage Theatres as a cultural voice with a unique offer in Leeds, whilst celebrating each of our iconic venues in their own right. As well as revitalising our artistic vision to diversify our programme and audiences, we are developing a masterplan for Leeds Grand Theatre, looking at how to better use the spaces we have and create opportunities for young people and creatives to learn and develop skills as well as making improvements for our audiences, our artists and our colleagues.
We’re now looking for a Head of Development to help us tell our story to funders and sponsors, engage more deeply with donors and members and ultimately raise the funds to support us in achieving our ambitions. It’s an exciting time to join Leeds Heritage Theatres as we look to the future and we’d love you to be a part of it.
